You are a student at the world-renowned Seiho Academy. Seiho Academy is best known for having had multiple winners in past Gunpla Battle World Championships. This year, Yajima Trading has brought the hype up to a whole other level. With the 19th World Championship slowly approaching, all the students at Seiho are feeling the pressure to perform (even those who do not have an interest in gunpla), and great things are expected from Seiho's Gunpla Battle Club.
While I believe Seiho academy was a middle school in the show, I'm just gonna say that in the context of the roleplay, it's a highschool, following the american grade system. This way we won't have any immature 12 year olds running around, and it keeps things familiar.
The forms will be available in the forms board.

Yuuta sighed and looked around the club room. It was your typical boring, and depressing Monday morning. Today was supposed to be the day that all the clubs were supposed to start accepting applications from students, and as the new president of the Gunpla Battle Club, it was his job to look at these application. With that in mind he had made a point of coming to school early, to avoid the possibility of a crowd. As it stood at the moment, there was no crowd. Simply himself, a shelf full of gundams, and a very quiet room. With another resigned sigh, Yuuta turned to the battle table. "I might as well practice against the CPU, if I don't have anything else to do", he thought outloud to himself. Inserting his GP base, the battle system began to start up. After looking through the battle settings available to him, Yuuta opted to start a 1 v 12 battle, consisting of him and 12 various style mocks. Once the settings were confirmed, the battle system spoke, "Please set your gunpla!" With a grin now on his face, Yuuta set his X Inferno down, and jumped straight into the battle.

Jiro entered the Gunpla Battle Club room, and stood still, stunned by the amount of Gunpla on the shelf. He had only seen one Gundam show, and it was G Fighter. It was pretty cool, but his friends reassured him there were better shows. Because of his lack of Gundam knowledge, he could only name one or two models from the shelf, and that was because he had played a bit of Dynasty Warriors Gundam 2 with his friend. The same friend who took his Legilis with his Neo Zeong. Taro Hishima. Jiro swore that he would get his Legilis back, and Taro agreed to give it back, but only if Jiro could defeat his Neo Zeong. The best way, he figured, to get his gunpla back, was to become a member of this Gunpla Battle club and train. Only then would he redeem himself and defeat his arch nemesis, Taro Hishima.
Jiro approached the table at which the only other person in the room was playing Gunpla on. He watched as some red Gundam, that he couldn't recognize for the life of him, battered several of the training suits, called Mocks. It was fascinating. After watching for a while, he tapped the boy on the shoulder and said "Hello! My name is Jiro, and I would like to be a part of the infamous Gunpla Battle club. Is this where I sign up? I, uh... thought there would be more people..."

This bleak monday sky was streaked with heavy, grey clouds, threatening rain. A few drops splashed onto Ariel's nose as she haileda cab to take her to work. She didnt have to meet her client until noon but she hated being home alone. another drop spattered onto her cheek, then another and another. "Shit," she hissed. Her hair was piled on her head in neat braids, her face done to perfection, and her blouse so thin, she couldn't afford another drop of rain. She raised her folders above her head, finally spotting a cab at the other end of the block.
Club sign-up day was always exciting. There were several booths with colorful signs the upperclassmen had made to atttact new members. Fifi generally found herself with little time to spare but the colors drew her in.

Yuuta spun around quickly and almost shit himself in surprise. "holy fuck!" he responded to the newcomer. Yuuta groaned as he heard the sounds of his X getting blown up by a bunch of mocks. He had been winning too! Well, whatever. He could try again later. "Sorry about that," he apologized. "You scared the shit out of me." Walking away from the console, Yuuta strolled over to the administrative desk near the door, picked up the form on top of it, and gave it over to the newcomer. "Just fill out this form and we'll consider your application. Also yeah, I thought there would be more people too." Looking around the room, Yuuta noted just how empty it really was. Hopefully it would be getting busier in here soon.

Sure, this form seems easy. Name: Jiro Kenshin. Former Gunpla Experience: Trained and fought with a Legilis. Reason for joining: I want to take revenge on a former friend. I will train in this club and become stronger than him. Gunpla Knowledge: Umm, I have very little, but I don't see why you wouldn't let me join. Looks like I'll be the only one applying. Jiro wrote it out and handed it in right on the spot. "I thought Gunpla was highly popular. Were there more people last year?" Jiro asked, genuinely confused as to why the club for the infamous gunpla battle was empty.

Yuuta took the form back and looked it over. It was pretty basic stuff. In all honesty, the form wasn't even all that important. It was his battle skills that counted. Even if he couldn't build gunpla worth shit, it just meant that he'd have to find an operator, and he could simply be the pilot. "Yeah it was busy here last year. I thought we were going to have a huge turn-out today, but apparently not," Yuuta shrugged. "Anyways, wanna have a battle? There's two parts to the application process. There form you just filled out, and a test of your abilities as a Gunpla Fighter." Yuuta turned back toward the battle system, and started it back up again, setting his GP Base when it was requested by the AI. "If you don't have your own gunpla, feel free to borrow one from the shelf. We'll keep the damage level at C."

Jiro headed straight for the shelf and started looking. "What's your name, by the way?" He figured it would be best to get to know the captain of the club. The captain would most likely be his mentor. After scanning the shelves, top to bottom, he picked one. It wasn't the prettiest looking suit, and probably not the most powerful either. But there was something about. The simplicity. The silliness. Jiro felt that with a suit that looked like this, it would be easy to surprise his enemies. Once he grabbed the GM Canard, he approached the opposite side of the table to be facing the Gunpla Battle Club captain. Awaiting a response, Jiro set his GP Base.

Gigi and Fifi go to the club fair. Gigi and Fifi looked in despair. Gigi looked like she needed the pub, and Fifi aimed for the cheer leading club. Ahem. Gigi looked at all of these clubs, but none really interested her. She saw Fifi checking out the cheer leading club. That wasn't really Gigi's cup of teatea. In fact, none of these clubs were. She patted her sister on the back, and headed to class. "I'll see you after school, Fifi." Walking down the hallway, she heard cussing and shouting from a room. It appeared to be the Gunpla Battle Club. It was shockingly empty, considering all the hype of Gunpla. She slowly opened the door and peered in, trying not to be caught. She looked in, and to her amazement, she saw the cutest looking boy ever. "I thought only dorks played Gunpla battle..." she whispered to her self. He had short, brown hair, a nice, attractive bod, and a face so gorgeous it made her blush. It was love at first sight. She slowly closed the door, and continued walking to her class. All day, she couldn't shake the image of this Gunpla boy from her head.

The signup sheet for cheerleading tryouts was taped to the middle of the table. A fabulous banner that said 'Seiho Academy Cheerleading Squad' was written in glitter glue, star stickers and artistically placed goops of paint. There were girls, and some blushing boys gathered all around the signup sheet, but none had dared to pick the pen up yet. To be fair, the prospect of being rejected by the typical school popularity contest was daunting. Fifi grabbed the pen anyways and signed her name in cursive letters. She looked around her, waiting for someone else to join. She didn't want to be the only new one.

Eveline wandered around the club fair. The whole thing was a bit daunting. There were posters up all over the school, advertising the different clubs, and representatives from each of the clubs were eagerly trying to get people to join them. She had been approached by many students already. She was the new transfer student! She was exotic! Everyone wanted her in their club. Representatives from the chess club, the debate team, student council... all had approached her, and all had left disappointed. She couldn't go joining every club in the school, after all. So far, the only stall she had stopped at was the gunpla builders club. They had a bunch of models on display there, and it had accumulated a large crowd around it. The sign up sheet had loads of signatures; it was clearly popular. The models were beautifully built, too; not as good as her Le Cygne, she thought, but still good. She stopped to admire the models for a couple minutes before moving on. Should she join the gunpla builders club? She was sure she had the talent for it... but then, there was the Gunpla Battle club. That was the whole reason she had come to this school, wasn't it? So she could fight on a team, to win the World Tournament, to show the world the power of her gunpla. But... she had put so much work into it... what if it got destroyed in a battle? Would it be better to just let it sit on a shelf to be admired?
Ugh, all of this stuff was so foreign to her. She didn't know what to do! Life was easier when she just hid her embarrassing hobby from everyone. She would decide on that stuff later. At least there was one club she knew she was going to join. The cheerleading club. She walked over to the desk, and signed her name on the sign-up sheet. She accidentally started writing her name in Roman letters, before realizing that she should probably be writing it in Kanji instead. That would take some getting used to. Wait. She was only the second person to join the cheerleading club? Was it not as popular here?

Yuuta looked smiled a little at the boy's choice of gunpla. He remembered when he had scratch-built that the previous year. Due to the... uniqueness of the design, Yuuta had been forced to make the Canard from scratch, as Bandai would never actually make a kit of it. As a result of the work he had put into it, Yuuta considered it to be one of his best works, and was happy to finally see someone put it to use in battle. "My name is Yuuta, Yuuta Maki," he answered, after getting momentarily lost in the admiration of his own work. Taking his place, at the battle system, Yuuta scrolled through the system settings, and set the battle level to C, and set the stage selection to randomize.
Battle damage set to C. Stage 5, City. Please set your gunpla.
It was at this point that the door slowly opened, but Yuuta had already become so distracted by gunpla that he didn't even notice.
With a smile, Yuuta set his X inferno down, and grabbed the controls that were now visible in front of him.
Battle Start.
"Gundam X Inferno, launching!" Yuuta shouted out, the passion for gunpla overwhelmingly evident in his voice. As soon as Yuuta was off the launch platform, he flicked his wrist and switched the X over to hover mode, and quickly dashed over to a large building. Pulling his close-range Beam Smart Gun over his shoulder, he brought it up into a firing position, and faced it down the long empty street, that would lead to where Jiro would have launched from. Licking his lips in anticipation, Yuuta shivered with excitement. He could already tell this battle was going to be an interesting one.

"Nice to meet you, Yuuta. I'm Jiro Kenshin!" Then, as if it was his first time, he set his GP base, and after that, his GM Canard. The battle system surrounded him, and he took control of his Gunpla. It was a while since Jiro fought. He never actually got the chance to since his friend took his Gunpla. But that training had to pay off somehow, right?
BATTLE START
GM Canard, launching! Don't hold back, Yuuta!" Jiro shouted as he engaged his thrusters and boosted forward. Out on the open street, he looked ahead and saw a small figure of a Gunpla on the rooftop. "Oh no!" It didn't take long for Jiro to notice it was in perfect sniping range. He dashed to the left and took cover behind a building. He stopped a while to think. "He's playing king of the hill! How am I supposed to get to him when he has such a good position?" Perhaps Jiro could outmatch Yuuta's skill and experience with his cunning. The GM Canard took out it's beam rifle, and after turning the corner, started strafing and shooting at the building Yuuta's X Inferno was on. After 4 or 5 shots, the GM Canard took cover behind another building.

Yuuta smiled as the boy started strafing to avoid his fire. He had good foresight. Standing up, and jumping backward off the building, he switched the X back into hover mode and started navigating his way through the streets. Keeping his gun in a firing position, he slowly approached the building that the Canard had dashed behind. When he was roughly 15 meters away (in scale) he brought his gun up and aimed it towards the center of the building. If he super charged his rifle, given the thickness of the building, he should be able to shoot right through it, or at the most, topple the building. The issue of course lied in the particle limit of his rifles. Looking down at a small meter on his controls, he took note of the fact that he had enough particles to shoot roughly 35 shots of his mid-range smart gun, and roughly 10 of his sniper. In a normal fight, that would generally be more than enough ammo, but given the size of the stage and the amount of obstacles, things could get tricky. After thinking about it for a moment, he came up with a good strategy. Yuuta shot twice into the building, and then quickly dashed around it and started shooting towards where the GM should be.
(describing this shit is difficult.)

When Jiro heard the shots hit the building behind him, he knew that his opponent's Gunpla had moved. The GM Canard took up his shield and charged around the corner with his beam saber drawn. Immediately, he was shot at by Yuuta's Gunpla, but he luckily blocked the shots with his shield. Then, Jiro strafed left, right, left, right, and left again! It was a zigzag maneuver that usually confused the CPU Mock suits. He only hoped it had the same affect on Yuuta. Jiro prepared his blade to strike, and dashed in for an attack on the Gundam X Inferno. Sweat poured down the sides of his neck, his teeth in a gritting smile. Nothing was more riveting than gunpla battle.
