For all your anime roleplay needs!
Note: I'm going to copy-paste all the previous posts that we've made up until now. Rather then having everyone post them again, I'll just put them all into the same post. It's not ideal, but at least it keeps everything together, and allows us to go back and see our previous posts.

Okay so, first official post! Below is all the previous posts (in order) up to this point in time, so prepare for a wall of text.
Lance: Lance was on the job today. Working at No Frills, pressing buttons on the cashier machine, saying "Have a nice day." to every person he sold to. He tried to mean what he said, but when there are so many people buying stuff in a day, it kind of loses meaning, and it just becomes customary. "It's not like they'll know," he thought to himself. The day was getting late, 6:30 pm. His shift ends at 9:00 pm, and he can't wait to get home, put on his cowboy hat, and watch some good old Cowboys Versus Aliens. It's against the dress code to wear it during work, but he loves his hat so much, he can't resist wearing it during breaks.
Oktober: The sounds of registers opening, the clatter of shoes on linoleum and cans of soup falling to the ground had all faded into the background. This was all very routine for Oktober. Cabbage, fruit, milk, bread, etc etc. She paid attention only to her infant brother, gurgling away at an avacado he had cradled in his dimpled arms. The lines went on forever. With only a few items in her cart, including baby, she hurried to the express check out. She had to hurry home to make dinner for her dad and oldee brother.
Charlie: Char Aznable cringed at the piercing sound of his mothers voice, as she interrupted him during a very intense moment of his gundam marathon. "Chaaaaaaarliiiiiiiiie!" his mother called out. With much regret, Char pressed the space bar, pausing Gundam Unicorn. As the seconds passed after he pressed the button, he could already feel the overwhelming need to press play.
"Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiie!", his mother's voice echoed through the house again. With a sigh, Char slowly stood up and walked to the door, and yelled back in a tone that only teenagers are capable of, "Whaaaaaat?!"
A quieter, much calmer sounding tone echoed back to him, "Can you please run to the grocery store and pick up some milk?" There's twenty dollars on the counter, and you can pick up some of those pocky things while you're there!"
With a sinister smile on his face, Char walked back over to his desk, picked up his mask, and slowly lowered it onto his head. He stood there for a moment, considering which pocky flavor he would get, before heading towards the door, and to his destiny.
Callie: Callie was on her computer, playing a very intense game of League. When it had started, she was almost certain they would lose, as they had a roamer instead of a support... however, the game was going surprisingly well, and they were at the "team fight" stage. She did her best to ignore her mother standing in the doorway. "It's your brother's first day at work, you know." "Yeah, so?" Callie hadn't even noticed. She knew Lance had gotten a job and done a week of training, but his absence didn't really affect her. "So I wish YOU would get a job," her mother sighed, and then sat down next to her, looking over at her screen. "Why don't you go out and see your brother? See what his job is like, maybe it'll interest you. I'm sure using a cash register is similar to your game!" Callie was silent for a bit, focusing intensely on her game. "No thanks," was all she said. Her mother stood up, frustrated. "No. I will not take no for an answer. You have to get out. Go see your brother. Just pause your game. It'll be there when you get back." "Mom, it's an online game, I can't just-" Callie was cut off as her mother hit the power switch on her laptop. "Oh my God, Mom! The game was almost done!" "Go see your brother." with that, her mother left the room. Callie sat in stunned silence, staring at the blank laptop screen. She knew by the time she got back in there, the game would be over. She was going to get reported for leaving. She closed her laptop, and sat there for a while, not really wanting to get up. Eventually, she stood up, and with a resigned sigh, got ready to head out.
Lance: As Lance continued to work, he saw a familiar face approach his line. He'd seen this girl at school before, but he couldn't remember her name. He took a closer look as she approached him. He jumped in glee as he just remembered her name. "Ah-hah! You're November! From Kacricon Kacooler Academy, right!?" He had a look of pride on his face, as if he'd just solved some sort of mystery.
Charlie: As char had walked into the parking lot to the local No Frills, he had gotten no less than 6 strange looks. He supposed they were unfamiliar with the overwhelming power that he had as the Red Comet, and simply continued walking.
Upon entering the store, he immediately headed for the junk food aisle. Pocky was his main priority, and the milk his mother had asked him to pick up could wait.
Eventually finding the pocky in the aisle, he once again contemplated which flavor to get. The choices were plentiful, and he was unsure as to which flavor would ultimately provide him the most pleasure in eating it.
In a moment of unsurity, he quickly grabbed a box of each flavor, and stuffed them under his arm. His mother would be upset with him for having purchased so many, but between being punished and only having one flavor, his mother was the lesser of two evils.
Having grabbed his pocky, he headed towards the back of the store, grabbed the bag of milk, and moved back to the front of the store, and got in line at the cash register. Staring down at the boxes of pocky in his arms, he could feel the excitement building within him, and could not wait to get home and eat them.
Oktober: Oktober immediately jumped back and shuddered at the sudden enthusiasm of this employee. Of.course she knew him. Lance Anderson: the subject of desire for much of the underclass girls, and some boys. She was about to nod in response to his question, but then quickly shook her head and blushed. The baby squeelwd away.
Lance: Lance was shocked. How could he be wrong. It looked just like her. "Oh, sorry, you look like someone from my school. " Lance went back to his "job" self, and asked this "November look-alike" to start placing her items on the counter.

Callie leisurely walked over to No Frills. It wasn't a long walk, only about ten minutes away from her house, but it still felt too long for her. She didn't even know what her mom expected her to do at No Frills. Talk to Lance, sure, but then what? She'd only talk to him for like, five minutes, and then there'd be nothing to do. Was she just meant to walk right home after? What a pain.
After what felt like forever, she reached the store, and walked in through the automatic doors. The store was busy, and when she noticed her brother, a line had formed around him. She didn't want to make them wait longer by distracting him, but she had nothing else to do, so she walked nonchalantly over to the register he was working at, looking around the store, trying to make it look like she was doing something other than waiting for the cashier to stop being busy.

Rhythm, the baby was old enough to follow his big sister's lead and dump the things from the cart, onto the counter. "Gentle, Rhythm," Oktober said softly, her voice barely audible over the usual ruckus of a grocery store. The baby ignored her, like babies do and threw thecabbage, weakly at Lance Anderson.

Lance, with the reflexes of something with really fast reflexes, caught the cabbage and gently placed it onto the counter. He let out a little chuckle because, well, come on. Babies throwing cabbages is pretty funny. Once everything was there, he started scanning the groceries this girl was buying. After he scanned all the items, he saw on the screen that the price would come to $21.45. "That'll be 21 dollars and 45 cents, plus 5 dollars for throwing the cabbage at an employee. Heheh, just kidding." He said with an awkward smile on his face.

Char, becoming impatient with how long it was taking to have his turn at purchasing pocky, looked up from his boxes of delicious Japanese snacks, and surveyed the situation around him. What he was surprised to find was that Lance, one of the most popular guys at his school, was manning the cash register. This was certainly not a bad surprise though, as Char was always looking for opportunities to rise up the social ladder, so that he could rule over his peers with an iron fist.
Smiling at the opportunity, Char placed his pocky and milk down on the conveyor belt, and enthusiastically looked towards the cashier, completely ignoring the customer that he was currently dealing with. "Lance! Fancy meeting you here!"

While dealing with the girl who apparently wasn't November, Lance heard his name called out by some kid in a mask. He looked over, and immediately recognized this guy. There was no way he couldn't have. The mask was the most defining characteristic of him, and there was no way someone else would walk around with a dorky mask like that. Right? Lance was starting to doubt himself, due to his recent mistake with the November look-alike. Oh well. "Ah. Hey there, robo-dude. Sorry, can you just wait while I finish up with this customer?" Lance never disliked this kid, in fact, Lance never really dislikes anything. It's just this kids never really had a welcoming aura, so Lance just went right back and avoided conversation while he still could. But who knows. Maybe there's a sweet, caring soul behind that mask. Lance would rather not find out, just in case...

This was taking a long time. The line had been long, sure, but already, the first customer had taken over five minutes, and Callie didn't have all day to stand around waiting to talk to her brother. There were far more important things she could be doing. Like play DOTA or League. Or WC3 if she really wanted. Or watch some reality show. She probably had an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians recorded. She decided to cough loudly, in the hopes that her brother would hear and acknowledge her, so she could hurry up and head back home.

Oktober could tell the other customers were watching her fumble with the money in her worn purse. She felt her cheeks get hot as coins clattered through her shaking fingers. "A.. a bag please," she blurted as loud as her tiny voice would permit.

Lance looked behind him after hearing a cough, noticing nothing at first, but then after looking down, he saw his little sister standing there awkwardly. Just as he noticed her, the customer asked for a bag. Pressure was building. Lance was dealing with 3 people all at once. The dork. The customer. And his sister, who is technically also a dork. It was his first day, and he began to sweat. Time to deal with this mess, he thought. Just keep cool. The Queen song, Under Pressure, started playing in his head.
He grabbed a bag from under the counter and gave it to the customer in a hurried manner. Then, he turned and spoke to Callie. "What are you doing here?" Like, really. Shouldn't she be playing League of Nations? What the hell is she doing outside? Is she just walking her Pokewalker? This was more of a mystery than remembering who that girl looked like. Hopefully Lance will solve this one too.

Char frowned initially after he was dismissed by lance, but without skipping a beat, quickly turned it back into a smile, and nodded in a sign of understanding of Lance's responsibilities.
After a moment of watching the girl in front of him struggle with her change, Char heard the sound of cough. Looking around, he spotted who it was coming from. Callie.
Now, Char wasn't one to be interested in the ways of the opposite Gender, but he had to admit to himself that he had always had a particular, well, interest in Callie. He certainly wouldn't call it a crush. No, that's preposterous. The ways of romance were not something that interested him.
From what he had heard about Callie, and of her particular extracurricular interests, he was aware of the fact that she could prove to be a talented tactician and forecaster, much alike Sumeragi Lee Noriega of Gundam 00. With this knowledge came the overwhelming understanding that Callie Anderson could prove to be a powerful ally in his future endeavours.
With all this in mind, he smiled and awkwardly waved at her from his place in line.

Callie pursed her lips. Lance was being awfully rude, after she'd come all the way here. "Well, I would have thought you would be happy to see me, but obviously I was wrong." She didn't want to admit that she had been forced out of the house. She liked keeping up the illusion of having a social life, even if she was talking to her brother, who knew that she didn't have one. She turned away from her brother, indignant. What right did he have to ask her why she would leave the house, anyway? In turning away from him, however, she noticed the weird masked kid, who waved at her. She had seen him around school, of course, everyone had; who wouldn't notice a guy walking around in a homemade mask?; but she had never spoken to him. Not wanting to be too rude, she waved back, before looking away. She didn't want people to think she was friends with this weirdo.

Oktober grabbed the bag and hurriedly stuffedall the groceries in. Rhythm cuddled the cabbage to his cherubic face and gurgled something in Baby about how much he loved spherical objects. With bag, ready to burst, and a baby balanced on her hip, Oktober rushed to the exit while pushing the cart out of the way. "Thank you," she must have mumbled, trying her best to remember her manners even when faced with life's most awkward situations.
The Lloyd family had lost their last stroller to a pimp's pregnant hoe years ago, before Rhythm was even banged into existence on some park bench. With their mother gone, there was no chance of being able afford a stroller on top of all their father's bills.
She trudged out into the thick, late summer air and was finally on her way.

"Sorry Callie, I'm just busy! There's girls, and cabbages, and masked people!" Lance yelled to his sister, but she was already gone. "Damn it." A lot of other people heard what he just said. There was a mini awkward silence, but the people were pretty forgiving and went back to business. Lance turned around, upset with himself for being selfish, only to find that the customer was leaving the store. Now he's even more of an asshole. He didn't even get to say "Have a nice day!" Even if he didn't mean it, he still felt the need to say it, and now he feels he's ruined that girl's day. Now he REALLY wants to relax and watch Cowboys Versus Aliens. Nothing would make him feel better.
He stood there, slightly devastated that his sister and customer just left him. Now it was just him and the nerdy robot guy. Lance let out a sigh, and awaited his conversation with this masked dude. What could it entail? Perhaps it will make him feel better. Maybe this kids more of an asshole than he is.

Char grinned and stepped forward in the line, filling the space where the girl in front of him had previously been. "How're you doing, lance? How've your summer holidays been! It's been great for me so far. I've been watching lots and lots of gundam and trying to figure out how to become the leader of our school," Char rambled on in a series of questions, "I was relaxing peacefully while watching Gundam Unicorn when my mom rudely interrupted me and pressured me to come down here and pick up milk for her." Char paused and thought for a moment, "I guess it wasn't all bad though, considering I ran into you and your sister."
